I recently facilitated a webinar that focused on how to cultivate authenticity and authentic leadership in the workplace. One of the foundational aspects of cultivating authenticity is alignment, alignment of your mindset, values, behaviors and actions.

It may seem simple to identify your core values. However, it can be challenging to determine if your values are based on true self, who you are at your core and not based on societal, cultural or workplace norms or expectations.
When I facilitate webinars and engage with coaching clients, I encourage them to identify 4 core values. And then reflect on the following:
Was it difficult to identify those values?
Do you demonstrate those values in your daily life? Why or Why not?
Identifying your core values is an effective exercise to begin to understand your true self and cultivate authenticity.
What are your top 4 core values?
